"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes..." - Romans 1:16
I have felt "not christian-enough" to be sharing the gospel. I am sinner. I fail daily. I am not building houses in Ecuador, saving children in Malawi, or changing the world in some significant way. I'm a young high school student who has so much more life to live and more lessons to learn. But, here I am sharing my thoughts and testimonies on my heart.
There are a million ways you can talk yourself out of sharing the truth that all need to hear. A million lies you'll believe in your head. These are my feelings and encouragements that everyone can share the gospel.
I find it so incredibly encouraging to hear other people's testimonies and hear how God is working in their lives. It's important to see that life isn't a happily ever after, once you've submitted your life to Christ, but to see that it's all about the journey for His kingdom. I found Jesus, and it changed my life, but I'm still going through this journey of faith every single day. Truly, accepting Jesus and submitting to Him is just the beginning of your testimony, your story. It's on the beginning.
** My challenge to you for the week: Share your heart with someone. Be vulnerable for a moment with someone and share what God has been doing in your life or a lesson you recently learned from Him. There is so much power in sharing our stories and coming together as God's children.
